latest news

On Monday 7th April we have Dave Lowe ARPS AFIAP DPAGB with his talk entitled "Variety Pack".

It is also hand-in for the Graham Pearson Landscape Trophy Competition which takes place the following Monday, the 14th April, with John Haines doing the judging on this occasion.

We have no meeting on the 21st as it's Easter.  But it is final hand-in for the our second themed contest of the season, Street Photography being the theme.

The competition takes place the following week 28th April with Alan Lawrence LRPS judging.

Our thanks this week go to John Holt DPAGB who presented us with some great images from the Lake District through to USA via Street Photography in the UK, ending the evening with three award winning AVs.  Our members thoroughly enjoyed the evening.  Thanks again John.

Congratulations to Linda Johnson who is our first trophy winner of the season, winning the overall PDI Merit competition.  Well done Lin.

We now have our second winner as Brain Dowdall managed to take the Print Merit competition, well done Brian.
